Indigo Sun Florals provides local delivery of fresh floral arrangements within the Sacramento metropolitan area, subject to our Terms of Service. We do not ship flowers via mail carriers or freight services. All deliveries are made by our own delivery team to ensure your flowers arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

We deliver to the following communities within the Sacramento metropolitan area:
- Sacramento
- West Sacramento
- Elk Grove
- Roseville
- Folsom
- Rancho Cordova
- Citrus Heights
- Carmichael
- Fair Oaks
- Orangevale
- North Highlands
- Davis
- Woodland

Why We Deliver Locally Only
Fresh flowers are delicate, perishable products that are best enjoyed when delivered quickly and handled with care. By limiting our delivery to the Sacramento area, we ensure that every arrangement arrives at peak freshness — typically within hours of being designed. Shipping flowers long distances through mail carriers would compromise the quality and lifespan of your flowers, and that is a compromise we are not willing to make.
Delivery Timeframes
We offer the following delivery options:
- Same-day delivery: Available for orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) PST, Monday through Saturday. Delivery will be made by 6:00 PM the same day.
- Next-day delivery: Available for orders placed after the same-day cutoff. Delivery will be made the following business day.
- Scheduled delivery: Choose a specific delivery date up to 14 days in advance. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, and special events.
Delivery windows are typically between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. While we cannot guarantee exact delivery times, you may add delivery instructions or time preferences in the notes field at checkout.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your order. There are no hidden fees. Our standard delivery fee structure is:
- Standard delivery: Varies by distance and will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery address
- Subscription deliveries: Delivery is included in your subscription plan pricing
All applicable fees, including California sales tax, will be itemized on your order summary before payment is processed, in compliance with California SB 478.
What Happens at Delivery
Our delivery team will bring your arrangement to the address specified at checkout. Delivery procedures include:
- We will ring the doorbell or knock upon arrival
- If no one is available, we will leave the arrangement in a safe, shaded location (e.g., covered porch, front door area)
- A delivery confirmation notification will be sent to the email address on file (see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your contact information)
- For office or business deliveries, we will deliver to the front desk or reception area
If you have specific delivery instructions (e.g., gate codes, preferred drop-off locations), please include them in the delivery notes at checkout.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If we are unable to complete delivery (e.g., gated community without access code, incorrect address, unsafe location), we will contact you by phone or email to arrange an alternative. We will make one additional delivery attempt at no extra charge. If delivery still cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our control, a refund may be available as described in our Return & Refund Policy.
Holiday Schedules and Cutoff Times
During peak floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.), delivery demand is significantly higher. Please note the following:
- Holiday orders should be placed at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability
- Same-day delivery may not be available on major holidays
- Holiday delivery surcharges may apply and will be clearly displayed at checkout
- We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day — no deliveries will be made on these dates
Subscription Delivery Schedule
Subscription deliveries are made according to your selected frequency:
- Weekly: Delivered on the same day each week
- Bi-weekly: Delivered every other week on the same day
- Monthly: Delivered on approximately the same date each month
You may skip up to 3 deliveries or pause your subscription for up to 3 months through your account dashboard. Changes to your delivery schedule must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled delivery.
Order Tracking
You can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your account and viewing your order history. You will also receive email notifications when your order is confirmed, when it is out for delivery, and when delivery is complete.
California Sales Tax
All orders are subject to applicable California state and local sales tax. The tax amount will be calculated based on the delivery address and displayed on your order summary at checkout before payment is processed.
